Varsity Girls Player Reflection Article

For being his first year coaching our team, Mr. Taccad was the best!!!  At practice we would have fun, but it wasn’t always time to joke around. We would have to be serious and focus because all our hard work would pay off in the games. After winning a game at Somonauk Christian School, half of the team went out to eat with Mr. Taccad. Some of the team didn’t bring money and he willingly offered to pay. After we finished eating, he noticed that nobody had ordered a milkshake. He told us that if you come to Portillo’s that you have to buy their milkshakes. Everyone said no because we knew we didn’t have any money left, but Mr. Taccad paid for all our milkshakes. We all felt bad because we should have been treating him to food, but it was him treating us. He told us we deserved it for all our hard work.
