As Christian educators, it is
important to structure our goals to reflect what we believe
about God and His will for us today. Therefore, Midwestern
Christian Academy supports the following objectives to guide
our educational processes:
To provide opportunities for students to receive Christ
as their personal Savior during times of daily Bible
study, weekly Chapel services, and special emphasis
meetings
To grow the spiritual life of students by helping
them understand how to commit to God's will
To develop a Christian worldview and lifestyle by
investigating all academic subjects through the truth
found in God's Word
To enable effective communication in students through
basic Language Arts skills and training in oral and
written performance
To make students aware of their creative abilities
and/or giftedness by demonstrating their skills within
the framework of a positive self-concept
To develop the social awareness and compatibility
in students by providing opportunities to participate
in groups of various sizes
To help students appreciate their constitutional freedoms
and demonstrate civic responsibility by studying our
American heritage and democratic form of government
To reinforce the Biblical concept that the body is
the "temple of the Holy Spirit" through emphasis
on personal hygiene, physical coordination, and a wholesome
respect for physical well-being.
To facilitate students' adoption of Christian and
democratic values for their moral, social, and spiritual
conduct as exemplified by the teacher's conduct
